Gold Country Cruiser Club

Once again, The Gold Country PT Cruiser Club took FIRST PLACE in a Roseville parade.  Sixteen PT Cruisers met at the registration point to see what number we would be and to check out the competition.  Usually we have little competition but this year it was different.  The VW Club, the Corvette Club, the Classic Car Club... they all were there.  As we were getting ready to "cruise" to another win, the MINI COOPER CLUB started to arrive.  They must have had at least 15 cars.  We were starting to sweat a bit BUT someone said, "Not a problem, we're prettier than they are."

We lined up the cars, gave everyone their position in line, and decorated with our RED, WHITE, and BLUE.  Flags, stars, banners, drapes, garland, and lots of other stuff went on the Cruisers.  We were looking GOOD.

Frank, PT Eagle, led the PT Cruisers with Bev out in front on her "cruisin' scooter" and our newly acquired Gold Country Cruiser banner.  Thank you George.... The front 3/2 of the parade were Red, Silver (we called them white), and Blue PT Cruisers.  The balance of the cars took up the rest of the line with Jim and Lorinda bringing up the end with Lil' PT and the PT Trailer.

Once we had finished the parade, we made our way to Round Table Pizza in Roseville for lunch and a good meet-n-greet.  It was a short parade, as always, but lots of fun.  People waving, smiling, and playing patriotic music... and that was just the PT Cruisers.  The spectators still like our "cute little" cars and respond very good to the Cruisers, the aoogah horns, and to our presentation.  Simple and Patriotic... and we WIN FIRST PLACE.

Clyde and Michelle want to thank all of the Cruisers who were able to make it to the parade... especially Al Shroyer, who came all the way from COLORADO (that's 100 miles folks) just to be in our parade.  The next Roseville parade is in November... SEE YOU THERE!!!
